Playoff Guidelines +

ASS - Top two teams of each division advance to the first round of playoffs, single elimination.

Half ASS - The division winners will be ranked one through six for the playoffs. Then the second place teams will be in the playoffs, but their ranking will be determined based on their points. So somebody in the lower division could have higher points than somebody in the higher division so they’ll be ranked higher. That will give us 12 teams in the playoffs. So we may have to have a bye for the top 4 teams.

GLASS - Top four teams of each division advance to the first round of playoffs, single elimination.

Wildcard for Playoffs: (When Necessary) To balance the playoff bracket, the following wildcard policy is implemented:

  • Eligibility: Teams that narrowly missed regular playoff qualification.
  • Criteria: Selection based on game winning percentage, head-to-head results, and total points.
  • Decision: The ASS leadership committee makes the final decision.

Implementation:

  • Balancing the Bracket: A wildcard team will be added to ensure an even number of teams.
  • Notification: Selected teams will be promptly notified after the regular season ends.
  • Placement: Wildcard teams will be placed to create balanced and competitive matchups.
